Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does “tapas” actually mean?
Tapas are small dishes for sharing, the way they are loved in Spain and Portugal. They invite you to taste, discover and enjoy together – without any fixed order or rigid rules.
Is there a classic menu sequence?
No. There is no starter–main–dessert principle with us. Several small dishes together make a complete meal – or simply a small moment of pleasure with a glass of wine. Tapas are served as soon as they are ready, not all at once. This keeps the evening lively and free of time pressure.
Can you also eat in the bar area?
Yes, in our bar area we serve all dishes just as we do in the rest of the restaurant. The bar area includes, among other things: - a large table for up to 8 people, which is reserved as a whole. If you like, you may also welcome walk-in guests. - as well as a cosy spot for two people right at the bar
Do you sit with other guests in the bar area?
Our concept thrives on encounters, exchange and Mediterranean joie de vivre. It is most beautiful when conversations arise and people get chatting with each other. At the same time: If you prefer to keep to yourself, that is no problem at all.

Is Las Campanas a restaurant or a bar?
Both – and that is exactly what makes it special. Las Campanas is a tapas bar where you can drop by for a relaxed glass of wine, share several small dishes, or enjoy a whole evening. Just the way you know it from Spain and Portugal.
Are gluten-free dishes possible?
Many of our tapas are naturally gluten-free or made entirely without ingredients containing gluten. However, since we work in a small kitchen where different dishes are prepared in parallel, we unfortunately cannot completely rule out cross-contamination.
Do you also have vegetarian/vegan tapas?
We also offer vegetarian/vegan tapas, such as fennel with orange, Pimientos de Padrón, Papas arrugadas, Patatas bravas (vegan option), oven-baked celeriac, artichokes. We are also happy to prepare our vegan paella (with grilled vegetables) for you on pre-order.
I cannot tolerate garlic – is that a problem?
Not at all. We have several dishes that are prepared without garlic by default. For many other dishes we can easily leave out the garlic on request. Just let our service team know briefly before ordering – we will take care of it and be happy to advise you on suitable tapas. As with all intolerances: since we work in a small kitchen, we cannot completely rule out traces from parallel preparation, but we handle it very carefully.
Do you also accept bachelor parties?
We only accept bachelor parties by prior arrangement. We want to make sure that all our guests can enjoy a pleasant stay with us, which is why we prefer to plan larger groups and special occasions in advance. Please contact us in good time by phone or email so that we can discuss the details together and create a suitable setting for your celebration. Depending on the group size, preferred date and desired course of the evening, we can reserve a suitable area in the restaurant for you and, on request, also put together an individual menu or drinks package. This way your bachelor party becomes an unforgettable experience – for you and without disturbing our other guests. We ask for your understanding that spontaneous requests for such celebrations cannot always be accommodated.
